Ranger - Jays Series preview

Toronto v Texas four game series.

Preview.
Very tough series ahead for Jays on the road. Rangers have just beaten up on Boston winning the series in Fenway. 18-9 at home this season and have only lost three since May 1st whilst winning twelve.
Jays will not have Halladay pitching. Janssen goes tonight not having a great time right now. Janssen had a lousy start last game against the Angels only going four innings, giving up five runs in the 8-1 loss.

Most pundits think this will be a slugfest series but tonight Jays face Scott Feldman 5-0 ! Feldman 6 1-3 innings in New York last Wednesday, allowing two runs and five hits in a 4-2 victory. He had never won more than two consecutive starts until winning his last three.

Manager Ron Washington.
"Scott Feldman has been great since we put him in the starting rotation," . He always does what you need him to do, keep you in the ballgame." Feldman has had a tough time against the Jays in five appearances with a .675 ERA. Players to watch Nelson Cruz and Michael Young.

In Toronto Jays won the series but Rangers were in a slump and Jays were hot. Positions are reversed right now. The good for the Jays ????. Hill came out his 0-25 slump with a two run home run yesterday. Rios appears to be getting there. The bad news is that Vernon is still playing like a Triple A player.
Overbay is batting .452 (19 for 42) with eight doubles, two homers and 12 RBIs during a 13-game hitting streak. Hill ended an 0-for-25 drought with his two-run homer, pushing his team leading totals to 13 home runs and 40 RBIs.
