Preview Game three Toronto-Texas

Toronto v Texas Game three of four.

Tonight Ricky Romero (3-2, 4.10), coming off his first win in three starts since missing more than a month. Romero gave up three runs and five hits in seven innings to beat Kansas City 9-3 on Friday, his first win since April 19. His first appearance against Texas who are hitting having problems right now with left handers .198 since May 16.
Jays meantime are looking to extend their current win streak to four. A huge difference from their last road trip when they went 0-9 and lost that top position in the Division. They did have some help last night with the sloppy fielding of the Rangers but then Jays infield were sloppy in game one.
Someone wrote asking about Travis Snider. Travis record on Vegas is currently eight games and 31 at bats eight hits but only one home run and one double and ten strikeouts. .258 average but the good spot is that he is error less in those eight games. Obviously not time to bring him back but the plan anyway was to keep him in Vegas until the next run of games against NL sides ends. But obviously Travis is still having problems.
Millwood tonight 5-4 2.96 ERA will be much tougher than Mathis. He beat Boston at Fenway last week, one run in seven innings in the 5-1 win for Texas. Against the Jays he has not had great luck 1-4 with a 6.25 ERA in eight career starts against Toronto. Alex time to wake up…. If he plays. Cito might give him night off.
