Bottom 6th: Vizquel, grounds to Overbay, flip to Marcum for the out. Jones lines hard at Bautista at third. Rios two down. Here we go, Alex gets hold of this one up into wind and out of here in left field, home run Rios. 3-2 Chicago, Pierzynski, grounds to Bautista at third for final out but bad boy Rios does it again to Jays. No justice in this world.

Top 7th: Gonzalez leading off. Strikes out looking. Ruiz, doubled in his last at bat, singles to right, Randy 2-2, making a play for that Overbay spot Cito. Buck, grounds to third throw to second on to first double play ball these two are the slowest runners on the team easy play.
Bottom 7th: Might be last inning for Marcum, Quentin at bat, grounds to Gonzalez throw to Overbay for first out. Teahen fly ball to Travis for second out. Kotsay pops it up down third base line Bautista an adventure there with the wind but makes the final out.

Top 8th: Snider singles to right, two hits tonight for Travis. Still hitting well, and against lefty tonight. Cito will love that. Lewis with one on. Grounds to right off the glove of second base Vizquel, Travis to second two on. Hill , Putz now up in bullpen. Fly ball to Rios one down. Bautista , with two on way outside, full count. Walks, ball inside to load bases for Vernon. That will be it for Buerhle. Yes here comes Manager, Putz ? No he is leaving him in there. Ok Vernon make him pay for this. Base hit is all we need here. Walks one in, Oh Ozzie how about that, 3-3 game. Cool Vernon there. Overbay your last chance Lyle or you are sitting tomorrow. Maybe Cito should be pinch hitting here lefty lefty bases loaded but no giving Lyle every chance and more. He is 0-15 against Buerhle. Why Cito ??? Pops it up. To shallow left, sorry Cito first question tonight at media conference. Lyle now 0-16 against Buerhle. Gonzalez bases loaded that is AWFUL pops up FIRST pitch Alex, to shallow centre. Yes Jays tie this up but miss a golden opportunity here. Overbay should not have been hitting and Gonzalez, ah well.
Bottom 8th: Marcum still out there. Ramirez leading off. Camp is up in the bullpen lines one to Snider in right. One down. Pierre, pops it up to Lewis in shallow left, two down. Vizquez, singles to left. 103 pitches for Marcum. Here comes Cito. Is it too late though? He tells Cito to go back… is staying out there. Ok Shaun, your game to lose here. Jones at bat 3-1 count. Full count, runner going. NO grounds to Gonzalez bobbles it no chance for throw, Oh man horrible, horrible game for Gonzalez tonight that was third out. Cito out there again poor Marcum. Camp now in. Of course it would be bad boy Rios, two on two down. Yes there is justice, pops it up to Overbay for the out. Gonzalez and Cito off the hook but more importantly Marcum keeps the score at 3-3.

Top 9th: Jays hitters, have to make this up for Marcum now Jenks now pitching. Lind pinch hitting for Ruiz. Strikes out, Buck, another HOME RUN to centre right. Snider two hits tonight to right and here we go again this time to left, that is what is making Travis so good these days, hits to both sides of the field. Lewis, loops this one into shallow left, two on for Hill, Hitless tonight, 0-4, ouch. big chance Aaron to be a hero here. Lucky here grounds to third throw to second for one but throw late to first to get Aaron. Travis at third for Bautista, would love to get another run here Jose. Gregg warming up in Jays bullpen. Full count. High and outside and walks base loaded for Vernon. 2-0, there‘s a strike, 3-1, grounds it up the middle but Ramirez has it for the out at second. Vernon leaves them loaded.
Bottom 9th: Gregg now to try to save this one. OH my, first pitch Pierzynski, home run, to right, 4-4, Quentin, walks, Teahen, trying to bunt him over, does it this time, down third base side no throw to second but gets Teahen at first, one down but runner in scoring position. Kotsay. Putting him on. Here comes Cito. Ah well. No, another chat, and back to the dugout. Ramirez, grounds it to Gonzalez but too slow to turn two, get Kotsay at second. Quentin at third, two down. Ramirez, pops it up, Gregg takes it himself and gets out of this one, and gives the hitters another chance. They have squandered far too many tonight.

Top 10th: Thornton now pitching to Overbay, his usual lousy evening 0-4 tonight. Strikes out, 0-5 ! Who does Cito think he is helping here? Loyalty to Lyle, bah humbug! Gonzalez another bad evening, first pitch grounds to Ramirez. Lind, full count at least, strikes out. Not a good inning for Jays or Cito.
Bottom 10th: Who will we have now? Hmmmm… Jason Frasor. Well Cito has lived dangerously all night long.. Vizquel, pops it up to Gonzalez behind short, one down. Jones, singles into right, here comes trouble. Rios. WOWEEEE lines it at Gonzalez, throw to first to double Rios up, that is called retribution. Great double play as well.

Top 11th: Where are the hitters? Buck two home runs tonight, strikes out swinging this time. One down for Travis, 3-4 ! and .237 average. Way to go Travis. Not this time strikes out on three pitches. Top of the order Lewis, strikes out.
Bottom 11th: Downs pitching. Pierzynski, grounds to Bautista at third, throw to Overbay for the out. Quentin, pops it up shallow right for Snider, two down. Teahen, grounds to Hill throw to Overbay for third out. Jays get another shot.

Top 12th: Putz pitching Hill at bat, 0-5 tonight. You know Aaron does not like that. Gets hold of it but long fly ball out to centre Rios of course. Bautista, 0-3 with two walks. Strikes out swinging over one. Wells now, Vernon our last chance here, full count, walks again third time tonight, lots of patience for Vernon tonight. Overbay 0-5, another chance at redemption Lyle. Full count. Vernon will be running. There we go Lyle you can do it, singles into right and with Vernon running he gets to third, runners at the corners for Gonzalez another who needs redemption, Vernon coming down the line, Putz has had several in the dirt already, THERE WE GO Alex you CAN do it. Gets hold of this one and out of here in left, here comes Vernon, here comes Lyle and here comes the man of the hour, Alex 7-4 Jays. Lind, strikes out but Jays are back in business and in a big way.
Bottom 12th: Downs can he finish this one off here? Kotsay, lines it out to Wells in centre, one down for Ramirez, lines to Hill, shoestring catch by Aaron, two down, Pierre, bounces it to Hill, throw to Overbay for the out. Jays pull this one out at the very last minute. But they all count in the win column at the end of the season.

The excellent: Marcum absolutely and deserved a win. Great outing. Buck of course with his two home runs and Gonzalez with the big three run shot in the 12th to win this one.
The very good: Young Snider once again with his bat, and moving that average. Let’s give Lyle credit also for getting on base for Gonzalez.
The bad: No not tonight. Too happy with the win.
