Top 3rd: Barton singles to right. Sweeney fouls out to Lewis in left field. Kouzmanoff strikes out. Two down. Chavez singles to left, Barton to third. Two on for Rosales, strikes out. Morrow not having an easy time but is escaping damage each time.
Bottom 3rd: Lewis grounds to Rosales at second throw to first base Barton. One down. Hill fly ball to left field flied out to Patterson in left field. One day soon I hope, someone is going to suffer when Aaron gets it together. Lind fly ball to Sweeney in right.

Top 4th: Powell leading off 3-0 and walks on four pitches. Patterson doubles to left, Powell to third. Davis with two in scoring position and no outs, Morrow in big trouble again, Davis strikes out. Pennington grounds to Hill throw to Overbay to get Pennington but Powell scores and Patterson moves up to third. 3-2. Two outs two on for Barton fly ball to Lewis in left. Morrow escapes more damage.

Buck, there we go John, singles to left, here comes Overbay and Bautista. 5-2 Jays.Snider with Buck at first and two down, grounds to Rosales at second throw to Barton for third out at first but Jays get two here.

Top 5th: Sweeney singles to left. One down for Kouzmanoff, fly ball to Snider in right field one down one on. Chavez strikes out. Free pizza for everyone as Morrow gets his strikeout number seven in four 2/3 innings. Rosales strikes out. Number eight for Morrow.
Bottom 5th: Lewis leading off again, lines out to Davis in centre. Hill strikes out. Two down for Lind, singles to center. Wells with two down and one on, there you go Vernon, this one is out of here, another home run and two runs score. 7-2 Jays. Overbay strikes out but Jays have opened up great lead for Morrow.

Top 6th: Powell pops up to Gonzalez at short. One down for Patterson fly ball to Wells in centre. Davis, keep this guy off base Brandon. Grounds to Gonzalez at short throw to Overbay at first.
Bottom 6th: Gonzalez leading off, patience here full count, oh boy there it goes, another home run for Alex, his second of the game, this one with no one on but it still counts. Interesting these multi- home run games by Jays hitters each one this week a different player. 8-2 Jays. That’s it for Cahill. Gaudin now pitching. Bautista grounds back to Gaudin throw to Barton at first. Buck singles to left. Snider doubles to left, Buck to third. Jays threatening again. Lewis, with two on strikes out. Hill, there we go Aaron doubles to right, here comes Buck followed by Snider and Jays have 10-2 lead. Aaron must also be happy finally making contribution. Lind with Aaron at second and two down, fly ball to Patterson in left but Jays have added three more here.

Top 7th: Rommie Lewis now pitching. Pennington grounds to Bautista at third, throw to Overbay. One down. Barton, grounds back to .Lewis throw to Overbay. Two down. Sweeney grounds to Bautista throw to Overbay at first to end the inning. Very nice Rommie. That is what this crowd and Cito is looking for.
Bottom 7th: Tolleson in at short. Gross in at right field. Wells leading off singles to centre and that’s it for Vernon tonight. McCoy pinch-running for Wells. Overbay strikes out. McDonald pinch-hitting for Gonzalez. McDonald grounds to Rosales throw to Tolleson on to first base Barton, McCoy out at second.

Top 8th: Lewis moves into centre. McCoy in to left field for Lewis. Johnny Mc in at short. And looks who is out here, Jason Frasor now pitching. The missing man of the bullpen for the last two weeks, Cito has made it very clear what he thinks. But even Frasor cannot give up eight runs, can he? Here’s a chance for three up and down and show Cito he can still pitch. Kouzmanoff leading off singles to centre. Ah well get the next one Jason. Chavez strikes out. One down and one on for Rosales, grounds to Johnny Mc. throw to Hill, Kouzmanoff out at second. Donaldson pinch-hitting for Powell, strikes out. Frasor did his job, will Cito give him the ninth to finish off?
Bottom 8th: Fox in at third base. Donaldson in as catcher. Bautista fly ball to Gross in right field.
Buck hit by a pitch. I think that might be sort of intentional with all the home runs flying around here these days. Snider full count and walks, Buck to second. Two on for Lewis, lines out to Patterson in left field. Hill walks, bases loaded, Buck to third, Snider to second. Lind come on Adam great chance here for you fly ball to Patterson in left.

Top 9th: Roenicke now pitching. Patterson grounds to Hill at second on to Overbay for the first out. Davis hit by a pitch. I wonder if that is payback. Don’t hit our guys. Tolleson singles to left, Davis to second. Come on Josh don’t let them get anything here. Barton with two on grounds to Overbay throw to second McDonald, Tolleson out. Davis moves up to third. Gross grounds back to Roenicke throw to first baseman Overbay and Jays win another.

The very good: Gonzalez two home runs. Morrow pitched very well had nine strikeouts but he went deep in the count too many times and lasted only six innings as his pitch count was high.

The good: Hill two run double. Bullpen of Lewis, Frasor, Roenicke three scoreless relief innings. Vernon another three hit game. Buck another two hits.

I get a rally towel I always wanted one of those,… I could never understand why Jays did not have a give away day first 10,000 with rally towels as opposed to the bobblehead dolls. It always makes great television to see a mass of towels being waved and rallying the team. In my opinion anyway. So now every game this scribe will be waving his rally towel. Thank you Blue Jays. Behind us tonight a group of visiting teens from Airdrie High School Alberta, made a great contribution to the noise level in Section 118, thanks guys. We don’t need 40,000 to make a contribution and get voices heard by the players.
