Richmond wins number four with home run help from Vernon and Alex.

Toronto v Baltimore Series finale.

Lineups: Baltimore: Roberts, Jones, Markakis, Huff, Mora, Scott, Moeller, Pie, Izturis and Guthrie pitching.
Toronto: Scutaro, Hill, Rios, Wells, Lind, Rolen, Overbay, Barajas, Snider and Richmond pitching.

Jays have not swept a series this season and has a good chance today. Richmond is 3-0 and has been better than expected for a number five pitcher. Crowd does not seem that big for a Sunday afternoon, a pity as Jays have been playing excellent entertainment. The good is that crowd seems more family today as opposed to the crowd baying at Zaun and others on Friday. Greg is not in lineup today. Moeller is playing.

The good: Richmond for an excellent outing, Wells and Rios with their home run bats. Rolen with his great diving catch to his left. Jays bullpen of Carlson and Down to close this one out and win.
The bad: Two fielding errors for Jays today. Barajas should not have thrown that ball. Rolen error was just a bad throw.
Top 1st: Roberts fouls out to Overbay. Jones grounds to Rolen throw to Overbay. Two down. Markakis grounds to Overbay flip to Richmond. Nice pitching Scott.

Bottom 1st: Scutaro grounds to Roberts throw to Huff. Hill grounds to Roberts throw to Huff. Rios doubles to left. Alex has one of the lowest on base percentages of al Jays starting lineup, not good Alex. Vernon gets hold of this one and over left field fence. Two run home run. 2-0 Jays. Good start. Lind grounds to Izturis throw to Huff.

Top 2nd: Huff singles to right. Mora grounds to Richmond throw to shortstop Scutaro, Huff out. No chance for two. I think if Richmond had let that go through Scutaro and Hill could have turned the double play. Richmond had to wait for Hill to get to second after he stopped that ball. Scott gets hold of this one and like a rocket gets one out in right field corner. Two runs here to tie this one up. 2-2. Still only one out and Richmond in trouble. Moeller strikes out. Pie doubles to left. Izturis grounds to Richmond throw to first baseman Overbay to get Richmond out of that mess.
Bottom 2nd: Rolen grounds to Izturis throw to Huff. Overbay strikes out. Barajas singles to centre. Snider with one on, fly ball to Pie.
Top 3rd: Roberts grounds to Richmond throw to Overbay. Jones strikes out. Markakis fly ball to Snider.

Bottom 3rd: Scutaro full count and walks. Scutaro stealing second. Hill strikes out. Rios grounds to Roberts throw to, Scutaro to third. Wells grounds to Izturis throw to Huff for third out.

Top 4th: Huff 3-0 and walks on four pitches. Mora lines out to Rios. Scott fly ball to Wells. Moeller grounds to Rolen throw is rushed and bounces away from Overbay, Moeller safe on Rolen's error, Huff to third. Pie strikes out.
Bottom 4th: Lind grounds to Mora throw to first baseman Huff. Rolen grounds to Roberts throw to first baseman Huff. Overbay with two down doubles to right. Barajas with two down and one on doubles to centre, Overbay scores easily. 3-2 Jays. Snider grounds to Roberts throw to Huff. But Jays have one back.

Top 5th: Izturis 3-0 count and walks on four pitches. Cito not happy…. Roberts fly ball to centre Wells for first out. Jones grounds out to Overbay, Izturis moves to second. Markakis a nubber cloe to the plate, Izturis to third. Throw by Barajas is wild, over Overbay. Izturis scores and Markakis goes to second. 3-3 game. Error to Barajas. Barajas was throwing off balance but there was no way he would get Markakis. He would like that back I hope. Huff with two down, strikes out. No damage done this time.
Bottom 5th: Scutaro grounds to Mora throw to first baseman Huff. Hill grounds to Mora throw to first baseman Huff. Rios, finally gets hold of this one deep to left into second row if seats, home run Alex, only his second in over 100 at bats, on course for twelve this season… but today that’s ok. 4-3 Jays. Wells going back to back here ? long fly ball right to the wall for fielder Jones to catch up against the wall. Great catch to rob Vernon. At minimum that was a double and very close to back to back home runs.

Top 6th: Mora singles to centre. Scott strikes out. Mora stealing, Barajas throw to Scutaro, Mora out. Moeller strikes out.
Bottom 6th: Lind fouls out to Moeller. Rolen grounds to Mora throw to first baseman Huff. Overbay fly ball to Pie.

Top 7th: Pie grounds to Hill throw to first baseman Overbay. Izturis grounds to Hill throw to first baseman Overbay. Roberts lined out to third baseman Rolen.
Bottom 7th: Barajas grounds to Mora throw to first baseman Huff. Snider grounds out to Huff unassisted. Scutaro pops up to Jones in centre.

Top 8th: Carlson pitching. Jones grounds to Scutaro throw to Overbay. Markakis grounds to Scutaro throw to first baseman Overbay. Huff strikes out.
Bottom 8th: Hill strikes out. Hitless today, but that’s ok Aaron, someone else’s turn today behind you. Rios lines out to Pie. Wells pops up to Pie. Jays go quietly and Guthrie has himself a complete game if score holds in the ninth.

Top 9th: Downs now pitching. Mora grounds to Hill throw to Overbay, one down. Scott fouls out to Rolen. Two down crowd standing. Wigginton pinch-hitting for Moeller, grounds back to Downs flip to Overbay and Jays have swept Orioles. Yes Orioles are bottom of the division but Jays have to win these games and they are all wins in the column at the end of the season. Boston in trouble in Tampa and Yankees game postponed. Jays can go two up on Boston.

This is a very quick game. Not even 2.30.
