Top ninth: Vernon two run home runs, hit by a pitch and a walk. Whoa Vernon is he hot ??? Classic Vernon pull to left no doubt about this one. Another home run his third in two games. Jays 7-4. Overbay, grounds weakly to second. One down for Buck. Vernon’s average .714 how about that friends? I think his wrist is healed. Chris Ray now pitching, Buck with three strikeouts tonight, doubles this one into left comer. Encarnacion walks on four pitches, Ray is a little wild here. Gonzalez with two one and one down. Lazy fly ball to left. Snider now time to redeem yourself Travis. No first pitch grounds back to the pitcher. Jays hitters tonight an awful 0-9 with runners in scoring position. Good news is that they can’t get any worse than that.
Bottom ninth. Frasor again, can he hold the lead tonight? Lead off double into the left corner. Here we go…. Full count Cito calls the bullpen. I guess Downs. Strikes out. One down. Saltalamaccia strilkes him out, arguing with home plate umpire but same call as previous strikeout. Two down for Andrus. That’s it bounces one up the middle for Gonzalez throw to first for third out. Jays have their first win of the 2010 season.

The very good. Vernon definitely with his bat two home runs to make him three in two games, that is a great sign. He had a good spring and said his wrist is fine, it would be a huge boost to the team to see him flying to a great start in April.
The good: Tallet but not perfect but took the game into the seventh which is all they should have to do with the bullpen that the Jays have. Gregg a good shutout inning in the eighth.
The very bad: Runners in scoring position 0-9 today, awful. AND the errors.
