Teahen singles to left and here comes Alex. Just like that, this is tied up again 6-6. Teahen steals second. They are running wild on Tallet. Top 8th: Jones with two home runs tonight. Camp still out there. Grounds to Gonzalez at short throw to Overbay, one down. That’s it for Camp. Downs now pitching to Pierzynski, hits him. Rios the villain, singles up the middle, 3 hits tonight, that figures. Two on though and only one down. Ramirez, hard to double up Rios. Sorry Alex, Ramirez grounds back hard to Downs, throw to Johnny Mc. on to Overbay, double play ball.
Bottom 8th: JJ Putz pitching. Snider strikes out. McDonald strikes out. Bautista, grounds to third throw to first for final out.
Top 9th: Get your heart pills out friends Frasor pitching. Number nine hitter Teahen leading off. Here we go, home run to left into Jays bullpen and Frasor has blown this one. 7-7. I think Gregg might be pitching tomorrow night. Top of the order Pierre full count, Gregg may be pitching tonight if Frasor continues like this. Fly ball to Bautista in right. One down. Action in Jays bullpen. Beckham singles into right. Quentin fly ball to Baitista. Two down. Beckham steals second Buck appeals that he was blocked for throw but no good, Cito also has a go but no good. Full count runner at second. Pops it up to Overbay but Frasor has put Jays in another hole here.
Bottom 9th: Can Jays pull this one out top of the order Gonzalez, Lind and Wells. Matt Thornton pitching Gonzalez strikes out. Lind , lefty- lefty matchup. Thornton just pouring in the strikes and working very fast. I wonder if Frasor is watching. Strikes out looking. Vernon last chance this inning. You can’t pull this guy Vernon, pops it up to catcher. Top 11th: Accardo still out there. Kotsay singles up the middle, one on. Pinch runner Omar Vizquel. Teahen does it again triples to the wall in right centre, Vizquel scores 8-7 White Sox. Not over yet, no outs here. Pierre, hit by pitch him and you know he will be going to second. Accardo in deep hole here, takes it uncontested, Beckham with two in scoring position. Grounds to Gonzalez looks runner back at third and throw to Overbay, one down for Quentin. Valdez working in Jays bullpen. Grounds to Encarnacion throw home and Buck chases him down for the tag. Two down for Konerko dribbles it towards first, Accardo himself the throw to Overbay for final out but Jays are in catch-up mode now.
Bottom 11th: Closer for Chicago Bobby Jenks. Good luck Jays getting to this guy. Snider leading off. .130 average for Travis. Lines it hard but great catch by Vizquel to rob Travis here. Randy Ruiz pinch hitting. Grounds to second throw to first for the out. Jays last hope with Bautista 3-0 count. Walks on four pitches. Gonzalez with two down and one on. Bautista takes second. Full count. Fouls off ball four but no one is taking pitches here. Bounces one in the dirt. Two on for Lind. Strikes out.
The good: Buck home run. Wells home run. Camp and Downs scoreless innings. Four double plays by Jays tonight. Saved this game from being a bigger loss. Great crowd at 46,000 but team cannot win for them tonight.
The bad: Jason Frasor blowing another one. Time for Cito to change horses for closer. Watch for Gregg or Downs to take the role. Snider finishes the game 0-5 ouch Travis, and with .120 average. Might be the last we see of him with Jeremy Reed now in Toronto. Reed earned the spot in spring training over Snider but management believe in ability of Travis and will give him a long run this season, playing as much as possible.
