Who IS Jesse Carlson?

The rookie phenom this season so far in the bullpen, he of the “backpack, backpack” song.

Jesse Carlson has been a standout in the bullpen so far this season. He has pitched in 14 games,14 .2 innings, 2 walks, 18 strikeouts with an incredible era of 1.23.
Apart from walking out to the bullpen each day carying "the backpack" (bullpen candy) the fans know so little about him and every game they ask who is this guy?

Jesse was born December 31,1980. (New Year’s Eve) in New Britain, Connecticut.Attended Connecticut University.

Apr. 9. 2008. The Blue Jays purchased the contract of Carlson from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday after designating right-hander Randy Wells for assignmentCarlson signed with Toronto as a free agent last winter. He had not allowed a run over 3 2-3 innings in two games at Syracuse.
