Nunez, 3-0 count, inside ball four. One on for Cervelli, NOW that IS a play, grounds to Lawrie, diving stop to his feet and a bullet to second over to Lind double play ball. That was excellent.

Top 9th: Last chance for the Jays. Let`s see if they have the hustle and heart here. Johnson leading off. Robertson finishing it off. 0-2 count, strikes out on three pitches. Lawrie, full count, lines this one very hard to centre, over the head of Granderson and off the wall, close Brett, stand up double for Lawrie, Arencibia, 1-2 count, here we go, Cervelli out to Robertson, time wasting Yankee style. Yankees bullpen now working. full count, grounds to A-Rod at third, throw to first two down Lawrie stays at second. McCoy who made the error last inning, you owe Ricky one Mikey. 1-2, strikes out swinging. When do we get Rasmus back, it cannot be soon enough. Yankees steal another from this Jays team.

Jays for the second game in a row give a game away.

Excellence today: Wise who was not even in the starting rotation had triple and home run. Lawrie with a highlight reel double play in the bottom of the 8th;
The good: Romero just not good enough as he let it get away at the end. No good pitching six innings and one lousy one. Lind home run after going so close for the last few games.

The scores may be close but this team appears unable to compete with the Yankees. Outplayed in every respect, pitching starting, relief and closing, hitting in the clutch and up and down the line. Yankees go for the sweep tomorrow and the way Jays are playing it may not be a problem
