Tejada fly ball to Bautista in right, one down. Markakis with one down and one on..
There goes Patterson, Morrow has him picked off, Morrow to Overbay to shortstop Escobar, Patterson out. Two down for Markakis, strikes out. Morrow escapes trouble.

Bottom 2nd: Wigginton strikes out. Jones fly ball to Bautista in right, one down. Pie fly ball to Wells in centre.

Top 3rd: Lewis fly ball to Pie in left field. One down, Escobar grounds to Lugo throw to Wigginton at first. Bautista with two down doubles to left. Wells with runner in scoring pisiton here, fly ball to Jones in centre..
Bottom 3rd: Tatum singles to left. One down for Lugo, grounds to Hill throw to shortstop Escobar, Tatum out. Lugo was caught stealing, catcher Molina to shortstop Escobar, Lugo out. Izturis flyball to Lewis in left to end the inning.

Top 4th: Lind leading off, doubles to left. Hill singles to left, Lind to third. Nobody out and runner at third, Overbay strikes out. One down for Encarnacion. OH NO!!! grounds to Lugo flip to Izturis throw to Wigginton, double play ball.
Bottom 4th: Patterson leading off and bunting, Hill to Overbay. Tejada strikes out.
Markakis doubles to centre. Two down. Wigginton strikes out.

Top 5th: Molina pops up to Lugo at second, one down. Lewis grounds to Wigginton at first for the out. Two down for Escobar, grounds to third safe at first. One on two down for Bautista, strikes out.
Bottom 5th: Jones singles to centre. Pie grounds to second, safe at first, Jones to second. Tatum full count and walks. Bases loaded. Jones to third, Pie to second.
Trouble here for Morrow, no one out. Lugo strikes out. There is one. Izturis, singles to centre, here comes Jones, here comes Pie. Orioles go out ahead 2-1. Tatum at third and still only one down. Patterson pops up to Lewis. Tatum holds. Tejada with two on and two down, strikes out. Huge for Morrow, that could have been so much worse.

Top 6th: Wells strikes out. One down for Lind, Adam strikes out. Two down for Hill, fly ball to Pie in left for third out. Jays go meekly here one two three.
Bottom 6th: Markakis strikes out. Wigginton fly ball to Wells in centre. Two down for Jones lines it to Wells. Vernon busy guy with the glove at least.

Top 7th: Overbay leading off strikes out. One down for Encarnacion, singles to left.
Molina fly ball to Jones in centre. Two down, Ohman now pitching to Lewis. Fred Lewis strikes out.
Bottom 7th: Morrow still out there. Pie lines to Overbay, one down. Tatum grounds to Encarnacion at third throw to Overbay. Two down for Lugo, strikes out. Number eight for Morrow tonight. But that is 92 pitches. May not be out next inning. Still looking for that first win away from home this season.

Top 8th: Berken now pitching. Escobar singles to left. Number two hit tonight. Bautista with one one, there she goes home run into left, here comes Escobar for a run and here comes Bautista. 3-2 Jays. Wells strikes out. First out of the inning. Lind with one down, grounds to Izturis throw to Wigginton at first. Hill, fly ball to Jones in centre for final out of the inning. But Jays have the lead again, can they hold it for Morrow to give him that win?
Bottom 8th: Rzepczynski pitching. Izturis singles to left. Patterson strikes out. Here comes Cito. Frasor now pitching. Who knows what Cito thinks. Tejada singles to right, Izturis moves to third. That didn’t work. Here comes Cito again. Downs pitching to Markakis with runner at third and only one out. That’s the way Scott, Markakis grounds to Escobar throw to Overbay, double play killing. Perfect.

Top 9th: Overbay fly ball to Pie in left. Encarnacion strikes out. Two down for Molina, grounds to third, safe at first. Lewis doubles to left, Molina to third. Cito no pinch runner for Molina, was he not anticipating another run ? Escobar two down and two on, fly ball to Markakis in right for third out.
Bottom 9th: Gregg pitching. Wigginton strikes out. Jones full count and walks. One on one down. Pie full count and walks, Jones to second. Gregg having trouble finding strike zone now. Moore pinch-hitting for Tatum, fly ball to Lewis in left, too shallow to get runners over. Two down for Lugo, walks, Jones to third, Pie to second. Bases loaded. Here comes Cito, not a happy guy. Says something to Gregg as he leaves the mound Gregg turns and says something back. Camp now pitching. No room for error with bases loaded, single can win this or Baltimore, one out will end it. Izturis grounds to Escobar flip to Hill at second to bet Lugo, this game is over 3-2 Jays.

Recap: A little too close and tense for Cito and many fans tonight but a W is fine.
The very good: Morrow seven great innings and his first win away from home. Bautista two run home run to win this. Escobar another good game, two hits and a run. Camp to get the save with final out.
The bad: The constant revolving pitching door by Cito. Has Vernon returned from the All-Star game ? If so his bat is still missing. Cito uses six pitchers to win this game, five of them in the last two innings. Four of them combined for 12 pitches. Gambled some but Camp came through for him in the end. Now he has to forget Gregg’s outburst. These closers are a different species, they have to be. But you know Cito will not let it go.

Interesting response by Cito today after that bunt single last night by Escobar. “We don’t usually do that in that situation” . So right Cito and one of the reasons I will not miss you next season. We need a Manager to give the players that option with runner at second and no one out. First or ninth inning. The worst thing that you could do is to shut Escobar down with that NL small ball style of play. Will be interesting to see if Escobar repeats it. I sincerely hope so.

Changes this weekend ???? Who goes down to make room for Marcum? My guess is Litsch but Cito makes the choices. Will Travis be back next week and then what happens at third with Encarnacion? And of course, who will be on the trading list for the last two weeks before deadline? Will Lyle still be a Jay August 1st? What happens to Frasor and Tallet?
