Spring training

Finally in the -25 weather in Orono, Spring training fever starts again......

Newbies Rolen, Eckstein, retread Shannon ? Maybe if Reed's back is still dodgy.. good insurance for Jays.
Barajas finally ??? Zaun will be fighting to show that he still belongs but with Thigpen 12 years younger !! and Robinzon Diaz in camp with average of .338.... also same age as Thigpen..
So many questions... Is BJ fit again? is he rushing that return ?

Outfield. Buck Coats and Adam Lind pushing the establishment.... and of course don't forget Matt Stairs... nothing to prove but available.

Pitchers will be the fun part with 20 of the 40 man roster fighting for places. After 2007 will Jesse be stronger ? What about Brandon League ? is he ready this season? Who will be set-up ? Janssen or Accardo or ??? Big question will depend on BJ....
Will Burnett finally be more consistent ? Can Marcum and McGowan repeat 2007?

First game today with Detroit...
On my way to Dunedin for first hand observations starting at the weekend. Will be interesting to hear the Spring gossip regarding Clemens... or will the ranks close ?
